Ok, so I was is NYC the other day because I decided I needed to do all the
touristy stuff (I do live just 45 minutes away and come here very often). So
while I was walking down Broadway, I saw these shops on the other side of
the street that had all sorts of plaid & ripped denim. It just so happens I
was wearing a plaid shirt & ripped denim shorts (its really hot there in the
summer, cuz u know, all the people, but I was wearing different colored
tights and really height sneakers up to my knees). So, I decided to go into
the store. So, when I went in, the saleslady said "Oh, Miss! You are looking
so fashionable today! Like you are really fashion forward, Especially with
those tights! And oh those sneakers! why are you even in here? You are too
fashionable to be inside fashion stores in NYC!!!" So when I went into
another store, the saleslady said the same thing. Fashion these days? one
word: Retro.
