directions:
(get an adult to be your assistant)

  1. Heat frying pan on stove at medium heat. Add a teaspoon of butter to pan and let it melt.

  2. Take your favorite bread and cut out a hole in the center. You can eat the hole as an appetizer. Place bread on pan to brown.

  3. After browned, flip, but before placing back on pan, add the rest of the butter. It will melt real quick! Place bread on pan and let it start to brown.

  4. Crack the egg so it lands in the cut out hole. Cook for about 3 minutes, then carefully flip, with a spatula, and cook for about 1 minute on the other side.

  5. Remove from pan and place on plate, add a little salt if you want and pop the egg with a fork just before eating. It's absolutely delicious. The crispier the better.

Serve with fresh strawberries or cut up oranges. A great Saturday morning breakfast while watching those silly cartoons. Your parents will love it too!
