Welcome

Did You Know?
Did you know that laughter can help your daughter cope?

Think about the last time you had a good laugh…felt good, didn't it? Laughing can be a release of stress and tension and a reminder that life should be taken lightly at times. There are so many daily pressures on children today – "high stakes" testing, planning for college while still in middle school, having the "right" game system or designer handbag – it's become easier to have a stressful, "bad day. " It can sound so trivial, yet it's one of the best ways to release stress and tension – rent a funny movie to watch as a family, read a funny book aloud before bedtime, clip out comic strips from the local newspaper to share with each other, find the humor in every day moments. Your whole family can develop a sense of playfulness and fun that helps your home to feel like a lighthearted sanctuary at the end of the day.
