One day I was on the computer and looking at the animals on www.indyhumane.org I saw they had about 70 dogs,150 cats, and about 30 small animals. I just had to help! They have a wish list in their web site so I printed that out and copied about 10 copies. I went door-to-door to the people I know and asked for donations. Everyone I went to took a list and I gave them a due date to turn in donations. When I was done I ended up with more than a trunk full of donations! I got $15.00 in cash too! We adopted a pet there and it was fun going back seeing the really nice people who work there. It really felt good helping animals and making a difference!
