BUILDING SELF CONFIDENCE

Shy on stage? Don’t think you can make the team proud? It’s common for people to feel this way. Here are some tips and tricks for building self confidence!

  1. Tell yourself that you can do it, and if you make a mistake tell yourself that everybody makes them!
     
  2. Take deep breaths before you go out there and do a sport or go on stage. It may sound stupid, but it really helps!
     
  3. Do something fun before you do the sport, etc. It can help ease your fears, and be more confident!
     
  4. Hang out with friends or family. It will make you feel more relaxed.
     
  5. If you are at a game or about to go on stage, imagine that you are at home practicing or in the backyard. That will make you feel more comfortable and relaxed!
     
  6. After you tried all these tips and they worked, treat yourself to your favorite ice cream or something else.

I hope all of these helped you with self confidence! They helped me before I had to go on stage for a play or dancing! So, build self confidence and it will make things easier!
