PARTY TIME: Jazz Up Your Tees
From our friends at TEEN magazine
Get crafty with your friends and invite them over to jazz up some boring old tee-shirts.
THE SETUP:
Buy a plain white tee (they usually come in packs of 3) for each friend who's coming to the party. Supply a bunch of fabric friendly paints, brushes, sponges, glue, flowers and "jewels" for decorating them. Set up a safe zone to do your work in, using sheets of newspaper, an old tablecloth or a bedsheet to protect the table and floor from spills.
THE FUN:
Have your guests decorate their shirts by painting, bejeweling or stamping with the sponges. Hint: Put a piece of cardboard inside each shirt before you begin to prevent the paint from seeping through to the back. When they're dry, hold a "fashion show" and award a prize to the most creative artist. It's loads of fun and everyone gets a new, stylin' tee to take home.
