4 FUN THINGS FOR FRIDAY (AND BEYOND!)

Sick of searching for things to do? Search no more! 4FTFF is your new go-to place for everything worthy of your valuable weekend moments!

Watch "Hannah Montana & Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert" in 3D
That’s right; the hit movie is coming to your TV, airing one night only, July 26, on Disney Channel. Watch Miley perform for her fans in Salt Lake City, Utah and watch behind the scene moments on the road and off stage. To help build the excitement, you’ll see Miley all day long with a “Hannah Montana” marathon. So break out your 3D glasses and get ready to be a rockstar. Don’t have any? You can go to http://terraweb.wr.usgs.gov/kids/glasses.html to learn how to make your own or check out Wal-Mart for free 3D glasses.

Workin’ at the Car Wash
It’s hot outside and cars need washing. What better excuse to wear your swimsuit and earn some cash? Put on your own car wash in your neighborhood. All you need is buckets, sponges, soap, a hose, towels, old newspapers, a money container and umbrella and chairs to rest. Sponge down the car with soapy water from top to bottom and then rinse well. Towel dry and crumble the newspapers to clean the windows. Don’t charge too much, because people can always go to real car washes for a cheaper and more quality job. To make more money, offer lemonade to your customers as they wait. This is a great project for a bunch of friends.

Be a Top Chef
Everyone loves going out to eat at their favorite restaurant: Red Lobster, Olive Garden, Native New Yorker. The food is just so good; it seems like there’s some special secret that can’t be copied at home. But that is wrong! Finally, someone figured out the recipes to those delicious dishes and made them easy for you to make at home. Pick up the book Top Secret Restaurant Recipes by Todd Wilbur, and you’ll learn how to cook the quesadillas from Applebee’s, the BBQ Chicken Pizza from California Pizza Kitchen or even Pumpkin Cheesecake from The Cheesecake Factory. Now you don’t have to complain about PB+J for snacks or macaroni casserole for dinner every night.

Play to the Extreme- Laser Tag
Laser tag is not your elementary school playground game. Add cool suits with laser guns, a dark indoor obstacle course and strobe lights and you’ve got an awesome weekend plan. Tag people on special spots on their suit and earn points, but if someone gets you, your points are taken away. Laser Quest is the biggest laser tag franchise, but you can also look at www.wheretoplaylasertag.com to find a place near you. Laser tag is a great idea for a birthday party or just to hang out. Here’s a tip: Don’t wear white, because you’ll glow for everyone to see you. May the fastest runner win!
