THE CHRONICLES OF NARNIA (PG)
(synopsis - not yet reviewed)
The beloved book by C.S. Lewis makes its big screen debut in a big bucks, no special effect barred offering from Shrek writer/director Andrew Adamson.
Relish the fantasy as the story of four siblings who're separated from their parents and forced to live with themselves separated from their parents during World War II, unfolds.
One day while playing in the professor's house, the kids, led by eldest sister Lucy, discover a mysterious old wardrobe that magically transports them to a wild and wonderful land called Narnia, which has been frozen by an evil witch. The children set out to break the spell and bring harmony back to the beautiful land.
What's the deal with the lion? He's Aslan, the lion king of Narnia. Sounds hokey, sure. But this movie (and the series of books it's based on) are GREAT. Truly.
