GET TO KNOW: ROMEO

We all used to know Romeo as "Lil" but now the 17 year-old star basketball player is anything but. Currently, the senior at Beverly Hills High is prepping for the release of his 4th album, Gumbo Station on May 22nd.

Recently, Romeo took a break from his busy schedule (and cramming for the SATs) to answer our goofy questions.

My house is: very futuristic. I have a lot of gadgets, remote controls for everything– the curtains, pool cover, it's like The Jetsons!

The first thing I do every morning is: Wash my face

My cell phone brand is: Side Kick

About my pets: My snauser's name is Midnight and I have a pit-bull named Matrix

I exercise: every second of the day. I run in the morning, lift weights in the afternoon, basketball training at night, and then lift weights again at night.

Lately I've been surprised by: James Brown's death.

The cereals in my cupboard are: Fruity Pebbles, Honey Bunches of Oats and Apple Jacks.

Heaven on earth is: being on the beach in the Bahamas with a lemonade with beautiful girls, like Rhiana, walking by!

For dinner, I like to make: bowtie pasta with marinara sauce.

I'll eat sushi, but notÉ the raw stuff, just Spicy California Rolls.

My coolest article of clothing: is my "Gumbo Station" shirt with skull heads and music and money symbols all over it!

My most prized possession: my Side Kick 3 because I write everything in it. All my thoughts are in it, songs I wrote, everything you can think of is in it, almost.

My TV screen is: 42".

When friends come over, we: play basketball and make funny songs in my studio.

My favorite TV channel is: ESPN! Of course.

My first financial splurge: my house in Houston, TX!

Wackiest fan encounter: At a show, a grown man pretended to be a girl because we were only letting girls on stage. He put on a blonde wig with pigtails and tied his shirt up about his waist to get on stage. They kicked him out.

TV show I never miss: Fresh Prince of Bel Air

Before I die, I want to: Marry Beyonce! No! I'm just joking! Make a billion dollars and use it to help the needy.

The best perk of being a celebrity is: going to amusement parks and NOT waiting in LINE!

Celebrity whom I'd ask for an autograph: Kobe Bryant or Allen Iverson

Dream car: I have 2 of my dreams – a Mercedes S550 and Porsche 911 Turbo.

When I fly I have to: listen to my iPod.

People would be surprised that I: I write my music in the dark.
