Sign: Capricorn
Birthplace: Chicago, Illinois
You may know me because: I play Taylor on "Flight 29 Down"
My house is: A ranch house on eight acres in the south suburbs of Chicago. We are pretty surrounded by forests out there, so lots of privacy, lots of pool parties in my back yard! Out in LA, I have a condo that my mom and dad sometimes stay with me at.
The first thing I do every morning is: have a little breakfast, and do my daily work out for about 45 minutes. Quick shower and I'm set.
My cel phone brand is: LG, simple blue flip phone. I'm eventually going to put rhinestones on it, one of these days, hehe.
I exercise: once a day in the morning for about 45 minutes to an hour. It just keeps me energized throughout the day. Having to be in a bikini for "Flight 29 Down" every day helped with motivation a little, too. Hee hee.
Lately I've been surprised by: my parents actually taking a vacation. They took a whole month off for themselves to just relax and enjoy themselves. They needed a load off, and I am glad they get to spend some quality alone time, without kids. Go mom and dad!
The cereals in my cupboard are: Lucky Charms, but the open boxes have all of the marshmallows picked out. Also, to TRY to stay healthy, Frosted Mini Wheats and Grape Nuts. To tell you the truth, I like Lucky Charms more (for my own personal reasons.... OKAY! It's the marshmallows!)
Heaven on earth is: having a group of my closest friends all together, and just relaxing and hanging out, playing guitar, enjoying each other. I have been really lucky in finding some wonderful friends. They are hard to come by.
For dinner, I like to make: A great big salad and maybe some fish or some chicken. I also like a little ice cream for dessert, not too much though, most of the time.... just some of the time.
I'll eat sushi, but not: cow tongue. That is where I draw the line. I know I wouldn't think that MY tongue would be very appetizing, so why a cow's?
My coolest article of clothing: The jacket that I am making with my friend's face on the back, it's going to be a riot. It's very weird in every meaning of the word. It's just his head embroidered on the back. I think people will like it, more like HOPE they will like it!
My most prized possession: I don't think I have one prized possession. I think my most valued things are pictures or letters that remind me of my family and my friends. If I lost those, it would break my heart.
My TV screen is: Small. I don't watch a whole lot of TV. I am pretty busy with work and school and friends. I think I would rather read a good book than watch a lot of TV, unless one of my friends has worked on something that is airing, or it's the show I'm on... kidding! I like the show a lot, but I am much too critical of myself to see it all the time.
When friends come over, we: usually rent a good movie or play Boggle. I know it sounds lame, but it's a really mind stimulating game, and we played it a lot while filming in Hawaii. I'm totally hooked.
My favorite TV channel is: probably HBO. I love love love Six Feet Under, as well as pretty much all of their original shows.
My first financial splurge: going to Palm Springs with possession of my credit card. $500, only bathing suits, spent in less than an hour. You get the picture.
Wackiest fan encounter: When I spent Halloween in West Hollywood. I have never ever seen so many people in speedos or dressed up as nuns or brides or Martha Stewart. I partied with all of them, it was AWESOME!
TV show I never miss: Iron Chef America!!! I've become an Iron Chef fiend. It's getting almost out of hand....
Before I die, I want to: travel the world, become as cultured as I can, I believe that there are so many interesting and enlightening people out there. I want to learn about how different people go about their lives.
The best perk of being a celebrity is: having the opportunity to meet such great minds. I have made my closest friends through this business. I have also learned so much from wonderful writers and directors, the knowledge you can get from just the experience is amazing.
Celebrity whom I'd ask for an autograph: Brad Pitt, hands down. I've been in love with him since Thelma and Louise.
Dream car: the new Cadillac convertible. I'm more looking at a Honda. It's much more practical for me.
When I fly I have to have: lots of little snacks packed. I'm like a little mouse, I always munch on things. Also, I like to have a good book with me.
People would be surprised that I: Don't shop a lot. Most girls my age do everything in their power to shop all the time, but for me, I rarely go shopping at all. I like to cook instead, so I guess I shop for food, but not clothes so much.
Book I'm reading: Running with Scissors by Augusten Burroughs.
Magazines I subscribe to: Los Angeles, W, and Cosmo.
Favorite cartoon: Ren and Stimpy, Family Guy, The Simpsons, or South Park.
I was so excited when: Napoleon Dynamite came out on DVD, as I am sure, EVERYONE else was.
My iPod playlist: Beck, Stevie Wonder, Pink Floyd, Black Eyed Peas, The Doors, Gwen Stefani, Electric Light Orchestra, etc. etc. Totally eclectic. But they are all fun albums.
I can't start my day without: doing my workout. It just makes me feel better the rest of the day.
If I had to spend $10 at your favorite fast food joint, I'd order: In'N'Out, cheese burger, cheese fries, chocolate shake. Perfect meal. Can't do that too too often, but enough to satisfy the craving.
