Mount Olympus Water
and Theme Parks |
Mount Olympus Water and Theme Parks is in Wisconsin near the Dells. When we went to Mt. Olympus, there were a lot of roller coasters, waterslides, Go-Kart Tracks, and gift shops. There was Hades, the rollercoaster that actually goes underground and goes under the street, Pegasus, which I went on, Little Titans, for little kids, Cyclops, and a rollercoaster that ended splashing through water.
I liked the waterslides the best. There was Triton’s Challenge, which was really tall and scary, and one next to it that was a lot like it, except it went straight down, Kamikaze, which was really fast, Wipe Out, Corkscrew, Twister, two mini-waterslides for little kids, an orange slide that was really twirly, and a yellow one next to it, and about four REALLY tall ones that had too many stairs, and when you went back up a tube sucked you up, and there was the Tidal Wave pool which was my sister’s favorite, where every ten minutes, a "tidal wave" comes by, and then there were three more that I can’t remember what they were called, but my favorite was one of those, the green one. It was fully enclosed and went really fast.
There were nine go-kart tracks: an intermediate one, the Trojan Horse (my favorite), Poseidon, one for little kids, and five other ones that were really cool. you had to be 48 inches to drive one, and on the Trojan Horse, you went around the track three times, whereas the other tracks you only went around only a few times.
As far as the gift shops go, Medusa’s was a place where you could get your hair done special. You could get corn rows or braids and stuff, and at a good price. There were other assorted gift shops too, and stands with shaved ice, tattoos, and places where you could get your name on rice.
Also, there was a mini-golf course, and two indoor spaces, one with water activities, and one with other stuff.
I really enjoyed my trip to Mt. Olympus and I hope you will too.

Disneyland Theme Park &
California Adventure |
If you’ve never been to Disneyland, you don’t know what you’re missing! Disneyland is located in Anaheim, CA. There is so much to do there! There are so many neat gift shops and amazing restaurants and café’s, too. And don’t forget the thrilling rides! There are some nice rides to go on when you are tired and in the mood for something slow, like It’s A Small World and the Dumbo rides. If you’re in the mood for something fast, you’ll find some fun roller coasters. When you’re hot and tired, you can ride Splash Mountain and it will surely get your heart pumpin’ and you will feel refreshed! Oh, and remember to go on the Matter Horn! In Down Town Disney, they have Club Libby Lu and Build A Bear Work Shop. If you walk over to California Adventure, you’ll find a Ferris wheel and a roller coaster called California Screamin’ that takes you in loop de loops. And if you’ve ever dreamed of flying, you have to go on Soaring Over California that makes you feel like you are actually flying! And the last ride I will mention is the Tower Of Terror, which I am too scared to go on, but heard it is really cool and fun. And don’t forget to pick up an autograph book and pen, because you will probably want Disney characters to sign their autograph. Oh, one last thing, you might be able to see a concert while you’re at Disneyland or California Adventure! So, if you’re in town, be sure to stop by! |
