MIDDLE AMERICA
LITTLE LA CROSSE
By: Hanna, 11, WI (AKA bob101)

La Crosse Wisconsin. It has so much to offer. From
the beautiful bluffs, so the rushing Mississippi
river. Every thing is amazing. It isn't that big,
but it isn't that small. Plus, it has really fun
holiday activities. Riverfest is around the forth of
July, with wonderful fireworks. Octoberfest is in
October, with an amazing parade. The lights, Santa,
and animals around Christmas, and the fireworks shot
from Grandads bluff. All around La Crosse is a great
place. Located right by the Mississippi River, it
has many waterfront restaurants, parks, and boat
landings. Come and visit. If you're hungry go to
Pizza Doctors. It's not on the river, but it has
great pizza. Located on 7th and King almost right
downtown.
MINNESOTA... MALL OF AMERICA
By: Jordan, 14, IL (AKA jordan942)

A couple of weeks ago, I went to the twin cities,
Minneapolis and St. Paul Minnesota. I went to the
Mall Of America for about 5 hours! It was one of the
most amazing places I have been to. They have OVER
520 stores and an amusement park in the center. The
amusement park is great if you feel like taking a
break from the shopping. They don't have a lot of
rides, but the ones they have are GREAT. I am not a
fan of legos, but they have a Lego store and
everything in there is made of legos! Harry Potter
statues, cars...you name it and they have it made of
legos! Since the Mall of America is so close to the
airport we were able to stay there for a while. If
you love shopping and want to experience the best
mall, I suggest the Mall of America. If you plan on
going on vacation, I suggest a ticket to Minnesota,
home of the Mall of America! |
