TOTALLY FABULOUS ITALIAN VACATION

 Last
summer I visited my first foreign country and was
blown away by all of the wondrous sights and places
to shop. Although hot in the summer, Italy has some
of the most amazing architectural buildings,
stunning mosaic pictures that are over 100 feet
tall, and of course... some of the best shopping
places ever! Vatican City, a small country inside of
Italy that is home to the Pope, is a great tourist
area! You can go inside St. Peter’s Basilica there
and see where St. Peter and the Popes are buried.
Most of the people there spoke English, so that was
really nice. There are fountains and statues all
over the streets and cool food to try! The radio
even played some popular American songs! I would
recommend visiting the Sistine Chapel because it has
beautiful paintings, mosaics, and the world-famous
painted room by Michael Angelo! Going to Italy may
be a once-in-a-lifetime experience, so if you go, be
sure to make the most of this incredible journey! |
