JAMAICAN VACATION

If you’re ready for tropical fun, Jamaica is the place to go for a vacation. From the clear waters and the sandy beaches to the great food, Jamaica is the best island to vacation on. The weather is really nice there too! It’s so nice, people say that Jamaica has one season...summer. There’s lots of fun stuff you can do while you’re there too. You can go horseback riding or take a raft ride down Dunns River. You can even climb the waterfall! If you want to have a great vacation at any time of the year, Jamaica is the place to go.

I’ve gone to Jamaica twice and it’s SO fun! It’s VERY hot!!!! So remember to bring your summer clothing. When you get off the airplane, you get off outside and then you have to walk to catch your bus. After you’re on the bus, it’s a long time to get to your hotel and there’s a bunch of hills and turns. But the best part of the bus ride is that you get to look at how the people in Jamaica live and see how you might be living if you move there. When my family and I went into the hotel, we got free tropical drinks while we were waiting to check in. We went up to our room and saw the ocean view! It was really pretty! Then we decided to go for a swim. The swimming pool had a built-in stage right in the middle of it! The stage is used for 4:00 Bingo and other things, like a Mini Disco for Kids. The hotel also has a bunch of other things like another Disco inside the hotel and camp for kids. Also, you can get spas and your hair braided. And this is the coolest thing: When you go to this little hut by the pool, you get free ice cream, popcorn, cheeseburgers and other things! And that’s right! It’s FREE!!! The hotel is also by the beach and the pools are open almost all the time! Even though I’ve had a great time on both of my trips there, there’s still one thing that’s very important: IT’S HOT!!!!
