This week on BEEN THERE, we hear from 13-year-old Caitlen from Australia (aka simplyonline) who tells us about having fun in Germany!

Germany is a wonderful country! I love the climate, views, and most of all– the people. I visited my grandparents in Berlin and had a blast! Their house is near a pond and there we feed the ducks and little fish. I celebrated my birthday in Pottspark. It's a wonderful site! We rode roller coasters and other amazing rides! We also visited Heidepark which is super fun! I was there with my family and daring stepbrother. We were all so excited to try out all the different rides. Aside from parks and ponds, Germany has some of mountains and forests. Every afternoon, we would go to this sort of mountain-like plateau and climb up. It was loads of fun!! I also like how a school is located in almost each big subdivision or something like that. Kids like us don't need to travel far just to go to school. In Germany, everyone feels like family. My real family and I had a blast there, and I hope you will too!
