This week on BEEN THERE, we hear from 12-year-old Tiffani from California (aka hazelnut11) who chills out in Cancun!

Sit back and relax…the city of Cancun, Mexico awaits you. In Cancun, Mexico you will find that a lot of the people there are nice and welcoming. Cancun also offers a lot of the restaurants we have here like Outback. And the same supermarkets and fast food joints like Walmart, and McDonalds. But the pleasure is not in the same places we have here in America, but the pleasure of being somewhere else for a change. In Cancun my family and I stayed at the La Merridean hotel. That was some what close to the Ritz Carlton and the all famous Hilton Hotel. The hotel was swanky and elegant, with people from all over the world like France and Australia. They have two tennis courts, two big swimming pools and just a yard away…the beach. When out of the hotel my family and I went to different places. Like Excaret, about two hours away from our hotel. There was a lot of wildlife like turtles, and a whole lot of lizards. But they never bothered people so, it was cool. And that was only the beginning. In Cancun you will not only find beauty and culture but fun and liveliness. So pack up because Cancun is the place to be!
