About the Author: I wrote this story because our teacher gave us a topic of doing a story with fossils in it and so how I wrote it was just by finding the right word and revising it many many times. I think personally it is a very wonderful story that could happen to any girl…you have something very special inside of you and don't ever forget that…is the moral of this story. I am really glad I have this opportunity to be an author of my own. Thank You.
My Favorite Book of All Time Is…. I love many books including Corner of the Universe and Homeless Bird
I like to write because… It is just pure fun a great hobby for everyone and I love entertaining people with my own creations.
Excerpt from her story...
My mom left and I stood alone in the hot, sizzling sun. I put my hand over my eyes and noticed my friend Hannah standing there, too, all pumped up. I ran over and asked if I could be her Prehistoric Dig-up partner. She agreed and we were off.
We walked down a steep hill, found some fossils, and picked them up and put them in our bucket. Hannah suggested we stop and dig to see what we could find. We did a lot of digging, searching for something interesting. Direct was all over my face and body and it was hot. Hannah patted me on the shoulder and it hurt so bad that I knew I was sunburned. From the corner of my eye I saw a scorpion climbing up my shoe. I jumped and started to running. So many scary, horrible things were happening to me. I started walking back up the cracked, rocky canyon. Why had I signed up for this in the first place?"
