My Favorite Book of All Time Is…. Among the Barons (at the moment)
I like to write because… "It's my way of connecting myself with the rest of the world. It's like me responding to things happening to me and things about life. I like to use my experiences to give girls convincing characters, since my stories are already a part of my history, and they should teach girls about important things that are good to know."
Excerpt from her story...
"What is normal?" my religion teacher asked yesterday at the start of class.
One of the boys replied, "Nothing! Everybody's a monkey!"
Several snickers ran through the classroom, but Mr. Cherbin took no notice. "Exactly correct, Frankie!" he boomed. "There is no such thing as normal. In fact, everyone in here is differently unique…" As usual, he droned on and on, but his question stuck to my mind like duct tape.
"What is normal?" The more I thought about it, the more convinced I was that there was such a thing as normaland that I should go on a quest to become it.
