#1. There's an awesome but expensive pair of jeans at the mall that fit you perfectly. You absolutely must own them, so you :

a)	ask your parents for a raise in your allowance -- promising to start doing extra chores on the weekend.
b)	search the house for spare change and see how much extra cash you can come up with.
c)	tell your parents you want them for your birthday. You'll have to wait a month or so, but hopefully the jeans will still be there.
