Food for Dogs and Cats
By: Becca, 11 (aka chipmunk92097)

Did you ever wonder how you could help our furry friends? Well, all you have to do is go to www.freekibble.com and www.freekibblekat.com every day. On there, are trivia questions about dogs or cats. All you have to do is answer them (it doesn’t matter if you get them right or wrong) and you give 10 pieces of kibble to dogs and cats in need. You can only answer one question on each site per day, but it really pays off! You can even get e-mail reminders to remind you every day to answer the questions!!! So help our Canines and Felines today!!!! :)

Volunteering with Tots!
By: Ariana, 14 (aka Promise_635)

Last summer, I decided to do something productive with my time. I was still too young to get a job, but I decided to volunteer at my local community library! I didn’t know what to expect, but I was looking forward to the first day of volunteering!

Once summer was over, I became really excited! My mom dropped me off and I headed into the building to start setting up. The first thing we had to do was set up the rugs, which were all shaped like farm animals! We got snacks ready and plugged in the bubble machine. Shortly after, the parents started to arrive with they’re kids. They were all so adorable! Every Wednesday morning for 2 hours, I would watch the kids laugh, do crafts, and pop bubbles (which was my personal favorite part of the experience)! When it was over, I was sad, but I was also happy, because I had learned so much from those 10 weeks. It was such a memorable experience, and I’ve already signed up to volunteer this upcoming summer. Everybody should volunteer! It’s a life-changing experience.
