Childhood
Lucas Till was born in Fort Hood, Texas on August 10, 1990 and grew up in the suburbs of Atlanta, Georgia. He has one brother, Nick, seven years younger.

From an early age, Lucas enjoyed imitating voices and characters that he saw on TV or in movies. Seeing his interest, his mom signed him up for acting classes, where he was discovered by a well known talent agent at age 11.

After signing with his agent, Lucas quickly began landing acting and modeling jobs. “My first professional acting job was modeling for a clothing store called Goodies.” says Lucas. “I honestly didn’t know acting was an option. I liked entertaining people when I was a kid ‘cause my dad, when we had family get togethers, he was always like trying to get people to laugh at him.”

He made his first trip out to Los Angeles at age 13. He won roles in the movies ‘The Adventures of Ociee Nash’, ‘Lightning Bug’ and ‘Walk the Line’ before he landed the role that would make the teen girls everywhere take notice, handsome cowboy Travis Brody in ‘Hannah Montana: The Movie’!

Education has always been a top priority for Lucas. Despite his busy acting schedule, Lucas managed to graduate from his Atlanta high school with honors. Way to go, Lucas!
