Wizards of Waverly Place
By far, Jake’s most famous role is that of magical
and mischievous little bro Max Russo on ‘Wizards of
Waverly Place’. Described by Jake as a “cross
between ‘Harry Potter’ and ‘Hannah Montana’”, he
says that acting on ‘Wizards’ is his dream job. “The
show is great!” he says. “We have a lot of comedic
situations involved with magic and stuff. It plays
out great.” We agree!
“My character (Max Russo) is sort of ditzy; he
doesn’t know which ways up and which ways down. He
sort of lives in his own world which is like me,
cause I sort of live in my own little world.” says
Jake.
On ‘Wizards’, the Russo siblings are constantly
fighting, but that is soooo not the case off camera!
According to Jake, “My TV brother [David Henrie] and
sister [Selena Gomez] are like my brothers and
sisters in real life. We're just one big family
on-camera and off.”
