Who’s cute, blond, bubbly and lucky enough to be starring in the Disney Television hit ‘JONAS’ as the brothers’ best friend? Chelsea Staub!

Chelsea Staub has risen to the top by more than just luck, however. After major movie roles such as the hilariously evil Meredith, the spoiled rich girl in ‘Bratz’, and her role as Stella Malone on the hit TV show ‘JONAS’, Chelsea Staub is finally taking her rightful place in the spotlight. Take a minute to get to know this up and coming young star.

Bit by the Acting Bug
Chelsea’s first acting role came when she was six. “My very first role was in the ensemble in a children’s play called "The Reluctant Dragon." I had one line: "Isn't he handsome?" and I got a laugh. Once I heard the laughter and applause, I was hooked!” says Chelsea.

After that, Chelsea landed many other roles. “My first paid job was in the national Broadway tour of "Showboat" and my first paid television commercial job was for Travelodge. The other girl that was cast with me happened to be Vanessa Hudgens! What a small world!”

She also got cast in a TV show called ‘Summerland’ where she had her first on-screen kiss! “My first on-screen kiss was with Jesse McCartney in the pilot of ‘Summerland’. Heavenly.” says Chelsea.

Chelsea really stepped into the spotlight when she landed the role of the stylish Stella Malone on ‘JONAS’. Both Chelsea and the Jonas Brothers were thrilled when Chelsea landed the part. “Chelsea is going to become the fourth Jonas” says Kevin.

Rumors and Romances
Of course, fame isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. “Rumors are the worst, they really freak you out” she says. Rumors of a romance with Joe Jonas started a while back when photos were snapped of them holding hands and shopping in LA. “It was nice to have Joe and his family there to be like, ‘Its ok, you’re going to be fine’ ”, she says. The rumors quickly blew over and both Chelsea and Joe denied they were anything more than good friends.

Chelsea is currently off the market. Her boyfriend, Steven R. McQueen is known for his reoccurring role as Kyle Hunter on ‘Everwood’. So what is her dream date like? “My ideal date is anything that he has planned for us to do. I love when the guy makes all the arrangements and just tells me what time to be ready. My favorite nights have been when he arrives at my door with flowers or a thoughtful little gift, then whisks me away to a romantic, candlelit dinner followed by a concert or a play or simply walking and talking and holding hands.” says Chelsea. Let’s hope that Steven lives up to that!

Down Time
“I love to travel, paint, write, take photographs and do scrapbooking projects.” says Chelsea when asked about her hobbies. She loves to do those things when she has time off.

She also loves to chill with buds. “We have a favorite hole-in-the-wall coffee house with comfy couches, music and pool tables. We also like to stare out at the endless horizon of the sea, or just hang out in my apartment and listen to music.”

When Chelsea has alone time, she loves to relax. “I love a hot bubble bath and a book! I've also been known to lay a blanket on the floor and put on headphones and turn off all the lights and just zone out to some great tunes.”
