What was an embarrassing moment?
When I first got to Hollywood. I was just walking around, taking pictures of the Palm trees and stuff like that. And this guy walked up to me and asked if I'd seen any stars and I said: 'No, it's been kind of cloudy today.'

Who is your role model and why?
Hilary Duff has been my role model forever. I went to her concert like right when her music started coming out when I was probably like 11. I was just amazed by her. So now, to be compared to her, it's like...holy moly. It's so cool!

What would people be most surprised to find out about you?
So many people always try to help me carry my luggage and help me do things I can do myself. If I can do it myself, I'm going to do it myself. I'm not going to let other people do it for me, and I think that's a big part of where I came from. I'm not a real prissy girl.

What is the best thing about your job?
Yeah, I had the easy job. I'd just go in and sing, but there was a lot more involved than I thought there was - the musicans and the producing and doing little extras to make it sound great.

What do you do for fun?
I relax by getting a couple of friends together and going out for dinner, or doing something goofy, going bowling or to the movies--the most normal activities. I had some old friends visit me, and they said, "It's so weird to think that you do what you do, because you're the same old Carrie." I thought, "Good!" You get into this crazy world and see so many places and see so many things, so you're bound to grow and change. But it's nice to have people think you're not just a stuck-up snob.
