MAKING MOMS HAPPY
By: tori, 10, TX (aka ciararox1)
Everybody wants to be helpful on mother’s day so I
have a spa recipe. Bath salts!
What You’ll Need:
1 measuring cup, Epsom salt, iodized salt, baking
soda and a baby food jar cleaned out plus throw-away
bowls and food coloring.
What to Do:
Use measuring cup and scoop and pour 2 ounces of
Epsom salt into the bowl same with the iodized salt
except only pour one ounce. Get 1 spoonful of baking
soda and pour it in to the mixture. Now choose a
food color and pour about 5 drops. Now stir it well
then pour it into the container. Now hide it till
mother’s day!
MOTHER'S DAY
By: Rachel, 11, NJ (aka rachuplay)
I will be a great kid on mother’s day
But first I have some things to say
I decided to write you a poem of stuff
Just to start mother’s day off
I know it’s not real wide or long
I thought you could remember it like a song
It’s to remind you of the great things you do
And to show you how much I love you
Just taking care of me everyday
Really keeps the bed bugs away
I’m always happy to be with you
So I can see all the great thing you do
I love you more than life itself
No matter what I need, I know you’ll help
So now you’ve read all you can see
Just continue to be the best mom you can be
I LOVE YOU!!!!
