The Best Birthdays

Have you ever had a tiring, or boring birthday party that let you down after waiting for it all year? Well, I have discovered 5 secrets to help you have the most fun at your birthday party.

  1. Never, ever plan out exactly when and what you're going to do at your party. It will be boring, and will stress you out when you don't have enough time to do everything, or your friends want to do something else.

  2. Keep the guest list at 10 or 12 people, tops. If you invite 20 of your closest friends, you are constantly missing out on inside jokes and what's happening on the other end of the party, not to mention, EVERYBODY wants to be with the birthday girl at once. If you have guests that don't get along, it's easier to make sure they're civil to each other if you're not keeping track of everyone else.

  3. Try a stay at home party. Nothing against location parties, such as the movies, the park, the arcade, etc. but staying at home can be awesome. You have more freedom to do what you want, when you want during your party.

  4. Plan 1 or 2 big activities such as watching a movie or karaoke, so your party has direction and doesn't fizzle out halfway through.

  5. Don't be afraid to try some classic activities, such as neighborhood scavenger hunts.
