HOW TO MAKE THE PERFECT SNOWMAN
By: Becca, 11(aka puppy_lover_123)

Winter’s not over yet! There’s still plenty of time to build some awesome snowmen! Read these snowman-making tips and your snowman might end up looking like this, or better!

  1. 1. The best kind of snow to use is snow that is sticky, so it doesn’t fall apart and ruin your snowman.

  2. To make the snowman’s body, start with a small ball of snow and push it forward, rolling it lightly on the ground. When you’re rolling the snowball, it’s better to push on the bottom of it, so the snow on the ground sticks to the ball. You might also want to rotate the ball once in a while; otherwise it might end up looking like a wheel! You can use this trick for the bottom, middle, and head of the snowman.

  3. Once you have one large ball, (the bottom) one medium ball, (the middle) and one small ball (the head), carefully lift up the medium ball and place it on the large ball, and do the same with the small ball and the middle.

  4. Next you will want to smooth down the balls so they are not bumpy, and you can fix up your snowman so he looks his best!

  5. Next, pack small bits of snow where two balls meet, so they stick together and don’t fall.

  6. Lastly, you can accessorize your snowman with things such as old scarves and hats. Twigs work well for arms, and you can use pebbles for buttons, eyes, and/or a mouth, and of course, a carrot for the nose.

I hope these tips help build the most awesome snowman this season
