LEFTIES

left is okay
Are you a lefty? Since only 15 out of every 100 people are, odds are that you're not. But WHY? Read on to find out – it's pretty interesting.

It's All In Your Head

You may already know that your brain is divided in to two halves. The right side (or hemisphere) is associated with your creative abilities (like art, music, and expressing your emotions) while the left side controls analytical skills and is responsible for things like language, writing, science, logic, and math.

Research shows that the right side of the brain is stronger in people who are left-handed and, vice versa. Is this true? You be the judge – If you're left-handed, do you love to draw, play an instrument, or perform in school plays? If you're a righty, are you a math whiz who always enters the science fair?

And, how 'bout this??? People actually used to think that left-handedness was a sign of evil! It's true! Years ago parents would force their left-handed children to use their right hands. Of course, now we know that's a bunch of baloney – and, in fact, there's even a international holiday celebrating Left Handed people on August 13th!
