10 Tips for Surviving School

are 10 tips for surviving school. Hope they help!
- Do your homework right when you
get home from school. You’ll get it
done quicker and have more free
time.
- When doing math homework, try
not to use a calculator. Check your
problems on paper. You’ll actually
learn more this way!
- If you don’t understand a topic,
ask your teacher for some help. I’m
sure they’ll want to help you if you
ask!
- If your school offers a tutoring
program, go to tutoring! It will
help you practice and understand the
topic better, and your teacher(s)
will see that you really care about
your education!
- Double check your work. This
doesn’t just apply to tests- check
your class and homework too!
- When taking a test, don’t rush!
Take it slowly, one problem at a
time, and check your work. You’ll
get a much better grade!
- Don’t be afraid to raise your
hand in class! Even if you’re shy,
raising your hand and answering
questions is a great way to practice
what you know!
- Participate in after school
activities! It’s a great way to make
new friends and explore your
interests!
- Be willing to learn! Participate
in class and really care about your
education. It will motivate you to
learn!
- Make friends! Branch out and
make new friends! The more the
merrier!
