Bio: Hi girls! I'm Allie and I love everything about being a girl. From fashion to beauty-- I most of all love knowing how to take care of myself. That's why I'm here to give fun and easy tips for being healthy. Remember, a healthy you is a beautiful you!
Zap the Zit

I had pimples on my face all throughout middle school and high school. Although my face wasn’t totally covered, it was always spotted with those deep, red, twinkling, swollen pimples. I hated them! One good thing was that I always had something to pick when I was bored. Gross!

Most pimples during these years are due to naturally changing levels of hormones, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t anything you can do. Besides washing your face, here are some things you may not normally think about, but can help you keep those extra pimples from forming.

  1. Avoid touching your face. The natural oils on your hands can clog your pores. If you use your hands to apply makeup, just give them a good little scrub before.

  2. Wash your makeup brushes with face soap every week or 2 to keep bacteria from building up.

  3. Change your pillowcase every week. I don’t know about you, but I usually get sweaty when I sleep.

  4. Drink lots of water and eat foods high in antioxidants like blueberries, raspberries and cranberries.

Want to Get Confident?
by: JuicyJukuChan17

Sometimes you feel like your self-esteem is running on 0% and when you see people who are very outgoing and quite confident it makes you feel even worse in ways.

A few tips on getting yourself that high, yet not self-centered, percentage of confidence.

Tip #1 - Don't focus on your flaws. You notice it and can't really avoid it, right? Yes. But that doesn't mean you have to think about it 24/7. Focus on the GOOD parts of yourself. EVEN if it isn't associated with your looks. For example, you might hate your eyes but you love your hair. Always think like that. It might just change your perspective on who you are.

Tip #2 - Change What You Hate. Of course, some things you can't change in an instant whether it's because it's kind of impossible or because it's one of those 'working on it' things. If it's your weight than yes, you CAN change it. You just have to work hard on it. Or if it's your clothes than that can also be changed easily. You get the idea ^^

Tip #3 - Give yourself Me Time. If there's one thing that makes me annoyed & even more irritated than I already am it's when I'm around my siblings ALL the time. So a little time alone can help ya relax. Give yourself a makeover maybe? Perhaps a mani/pedi? Do your hair? Take a calming bath? Dress up in nice clothes? Those things can make you feel better.

Obviously, there are lots of ways to make yourself appear confident but those are ones that I myself know of. Hopefully it will help you out if you’re having a pretty bad day. Remember, being confident can change your appearance. So just feel better about yourself.
