Bio: Hi girls! I'm Allie and I love everything about being a girl. From fashion to beauty-- I most of all love knowing how to take care of myself. That's why I'm here to give fun and easy tips for being healthy. Remember, a healthy you is a beautiful you!
Pillow Talk

Pillow talk is that time during a sleepover right before bed when the lights are turned off and you and your friend tell each other everything in the safety of the darkness. One conversation leads to many, many more. You can start out talking about a boy in your grade and end up talking about your elaborate plan to become Willow Smith’s backup dancers. You compare crushes and stories, and laugh at the strangest things that only you two find funny. You may even tell them your deepest secrets! Pillow talk is my favorite part of any sleepover. My roommate in college and I do it all the time!

Use these late night chats to bond you and your friend together. This builds trust in your friendship. Being able to trust someone is one of the most important parts of any healthy relationship. Trusting someone means that you know that she wants what is best for you, that she is not judging you, that she will not tell anyone else your secrets and that she won’t gossip about you behind your back. She will only do all this if she trusts you and knows that you will do the same for her. If you can trust each other, you girls will be best friends forever. J

What are your favorite parts of a sleepover? Do you ever have pillow talk? I have posted this question on the wall, too. I would love to hear your answers!

DYI: Nail Polish

Make a funky new nail varnish with these directions sent in by 13-year-old Sophy from the United Kingdom (aka pinkpony93)!

You will need:
A bottle of white nail varnish
Old eye shadow (any color: Blues, pinks and purples work best) - ask your mom if she has an old one you can use

What to do:
1. Crush your eye shadow into a fine powder
2. Fold a piece of paper in half and use it as a funnel to pour the eye 3. Shadow into the nail varnish
4. Shake really well until all the eye shadow is mixed in.

Use on your own nails or give as a gift.
