Get A Toned Body

We all dream of having a toned, beautiful body though we are all beautiful no matter what we look like, it is still nice to be in shape not only for looks, but for good health! So here are some exercises you can do each week (everyday is better) to get in good shape!

  • If it burns it is working! If it hurts too much, stop and don't forget to stay hydrated! Let's work our way up starting with the legs. Find a stair or if you do not have stairs a small stool will work. Stand on it so that you heels are hanging off, but in a way so that you are not uncomfortable. Now lift your self up so you are standing on the balls of your feet. Do these five minutes everyday to help your calves!
  • Now for abs and legs! There are several exercises to do but I will show you. First one: Lay on your back, and lift your legs up six inches off of the ground. Hold this for two minutes. Don't forget to breathe! Do this a few times then lie on your stomach and do the same thing. Second: Lie on your back and make your legs move in a scissor motion, continue this and move your legs upward and down while scissoring. Do this several times then lay on your stomach. Do he same thing but don't move your legs up, just scissor in place.
  • Abs Abs Abs! Lay on your back and move your legs as you would if you were riding a bike, pretend to pedal. Make sure you are all the way down; sometimes you want to prop up your head with your arms.
  • All over! Now do as many push ups as you can. When you feel like you cant go any farther, don't lay down, instead just hold your self in the up position. Drop slowly after holding yourself for a while (the length is up to you) Do the superman! Lay flat on your back with your legs stretched out. Now lift up your legs, and upper body as high as possible. Hold for 20 seconds. Do this 10-15 times.
  • Now for the simplest thing of all. EAT HEALTHY! If you eat unhealthy food, your body is going to show it. Make your junk food a "once in a while" treat, not all the time. Besides, eating healthy can also help period symptoms. It can also keep you from getting sick! And who wants to be sick when you could be hanging with friends!?
