Book Club!

Whatever you do over the summer, try picking
up a book (or a kindle or ipad…)! It doesn't
matter too much what you choose to read as
long as it is something that interests you-
a vampire novel, a mystery novel or a
fantasy novel. I used to like reading a
range of books from Harry Potter to books
examining teen psychology like Go Ask Alice.
If you're looking for a fun, engaging book
for the beach or for the bed, I hear the
Princess Diaries Series by Meg Cabot is
good! If that doesn't sound like something
you'd be interested in, try picking a book
with a friend and reading it together!

Feel Fab from
Head to Toe
by: sugarlips23

We all feel
great about ourselves when we are looking
our best. It is actually very easy to look
and feel flawless!
What you will need:
- A water bottle
- Some facial wipes (i recommend
Clearasil)
- Your fav chapstick (smackers or
burts bees work good)
If you do not already do so, you have to
start washing your face every morning
and every night! This will help fight
off acne and look flawless. Every
morning take the time to drink a half
glass or more of water and stretch, as
if you would in p.e. or before a sport.
Then after you have done all this, do 25
arm circles and 10 push ups. Then spell
out your full name doing jumping jacks!
These exercises will help tone your body
and keep you healthy. Especially in
winter and other dry seasons, apply
chapstick before or after you wash your
face to keep your lips smooth and soft.
We are girls. No matter how good we take
care of our skin we all might get a pimple
from time to time. This facial mask can help
eliminate and prevent acne. Grate a medium
sized apple until it is fine and put it all
in a bowl. Mix in 5 tbs of honey. Apply to
your skin and let sit for 10 minutes. Wash
off with lukewarm water. Do this once every
week.
It might sound easy to some girls and
harder to others, but try to cut back on the
candy and junk food. This not only will keep
you healthy but it can help you have a
better period too. I hope these ideas help
you to look your best even if you feel your
worst! |
