MY ANSWERS TO YOUR QUESTIONS...

Q: "How can you balance being girly and being sporty but not so girly that people make fun of you?"
delilah, 12, OH
A:
Be yourself, that's what I say. What else is there? – Justine

Q: "Is it fun to travel? I have never been out of the state Nebraska."
Sierra, 10, NE
A:
It's fun once you get there. But traveling itself can be quite a hassle, especially with all the airport security these days. Now you can't even bring liquids on board a plane! – Justine

Rebecca, 11
A:
No, never had the pleasure. But my mates Cally and Medha are from there. – Justine

Q: "Soon, my family will be moving. Compared to a lot of other people, I am really strange. If my new school is clique-y or anything, what should I do?"
Lila, 10, RI
A:
My best advice is to just smile and say "Hi" to the other kids. It's really hard sometimes so keep up your courage. – Justine

Q: "Where is your favorite place to visit?"
Georgina, 8, MI
A:
My dad is in the US Army, so I'm what you'd call an "Army brat". He has been stationed in England and Germany, so I get to check out Europe on my school vacations. One of my absolute favorite places to visit is Paris. It's so cool and chic. I have a TON of photos of Paris. It's really a beautiful city. – Justine

Q: "Do you like little activities like drawing, sewing, doing crafts, and designing, or do you like all kinds of sports better?"
Haley, 13, OR

Q: "Do you like dolls?"
Abigail, 9, MI

My Dad is retired from the Army now, but when he was in it, I would get scared sometimes if he had to perform his tour of duty. He really loved being a part of it though. Whitney, 9, TX
A:
I recently saw "Duma," about a baby cheetah in South Africa, and I loved it! – Justine

Q: "Hey Justine, I want to be a photo journalist too! Any tips??"
molly, 10, MT
A:
You have to start by building a portfolio of your photos. Take your camera and start shooting and keep your best prints in a folder. Show them to your school newspaper or a local magazine and maybe you can get published. Before you do that, though, study the publication so that you know what kind of photos they look for. That way, you can show them what they want to see. If the school newspaper likes candid shots of students, then take those. If a local magazine likes “beauty shots” of local scenery, then take those. – Justine

sam, 10, GA
