"I need help! So my iphone was stolen a couple weeks ago and I am really sad because I am going on vacation really soon and I wanted some kind of internet source plus all the fun apps and music. I cant get another phone till later in the year so I was thinking of getting an ipad 2 but then i saw this add for a kindle fire that said it was about half the price and still did most of the things the ipad did. I dont know what to get and I am running out of time because my vacation is next week! What would you do? What would you get? Thanks and anything helps:)"

"I think I would get the kindle fire. I mean, is it REALLY that different (Because I saw the commercial too)? Plus it's HALF the price, and it's not like you can only do games: You can read too! If you have a movie thing connected to the car, you should just watch movies otherwise. Because who KNOWS if you will play with the kindle fire if you watch movies! Spend time with your family :D You can always spend time listening to music, playing video games, etc at home. You don't need electronics to have fun. You'll have fun with your family! "If you have the money, I recommend a Kindle Fire. I own one, and I LOVE it! It has music, news, apps, books, internet and more...! I think it is much for easy to carry around, because I know that iPad's are a little more wide. (But then again, the height of the kindle is more than the iPad.) Yea...SO I would get a Kindle if I were you. Especially if you only have enough money for a Kindle Fire ~FuNkEyMoNkEyS~"

"I think you should get an iPod touch. I mean, it does the same things the iPad does, and it's cheaper, plus the Kindle Fire may be cheaper, but Apple stuff has iCloud. With iCloud, if you're iPod was stolen, you could still access all the data on it. Plus you could use this service called find my iPhone (it works for all apple devices) so you could find it! In the end, remember it's your choice, so don't be fooled by ads. Also, if you more want games/internet, you should get an iPad/iPod, if you're more into using it for reading I would get a Kindle Fire. (Though an iPad does have ebooks, and Kindle Fire has games.)"

"well, i suggest maybe consider what to get so that you can explain to your mom and dad that you want a new phone because someone stole it, then get whatever you want after vacation. i think you should get the kindle fire, less money, does about the same the ipad does, so i'd go with the kindle fire. "Go with the kindle. It's a lot cheaper and it does most of the things the ipad does. I am required to get an ipad for school but if you don't need the ipad for a specific reason, then definitely go with the kindle fire."

"I am so sorry that your Iphone was stolen! I guess you can just look at the bright side and think of this as an oppurtunity to try out a new piece of technology! In my opinion, you should definitely get a Kindle Fire. There are many reasons why a Kindle Fire is better than an Ipad in your situation. First, it is a lot more portable and will be easy to bring on your vacation. Second, it is (as you said) MUCH cheaper than an Ipad. Third, it can do basically the same things as an Ipad. Whatever you choose, I hope you have fun on your vacation and enjoy your new gadget!(:

"i have the kindle fire and it is AWESOME!!! my dad has the iPad 2 and I'm using it right now. the only thing that the iPad can do that kindle fire can't is take pics!!!!! plus half of the price. its REALLY WORTH IT. good luck! happy vacay!!!!"
