It's
that time of year again... the start of school, cold breezes followed by the hot
sunlight warming our skin and the sight of leaves changing colors. These small
moments are already reminding us that it's not long before the ground will
probably be covered in frost, or maybe even snow. All these sadly mark the end
of summer, but also bring a new season and most importantly, a different style
of clothing. We could all say our final farewells to short-short, ruffles, bows,
bright colors and animal prints now, and welcome the new fall fashions for 2010.
It wasn't long ago when models strutted the runway revealing the newest clothing
pieces for fashion week in New York.
During fashion week in New York, many new fall ideas were displayed, and these
are ten of the newest trends.
- White is the new black
- Simple, clean pieces/90īs minimalism
- Mid-calf length skirts
- Pants that are wide legged, high wasted and pretty blouses paired with
sharp blazers
- Apron belts
- Neutral colors
- Python texture
- Pointed toe stilettos
- Small, simple, structured bags/purses
- A statement dress
Ranging from the cool, smooth texture of python skin to the weird, but risky,
fashionable apron belt, this is what fashion week New York brings us. Many of
these items are simple, from the color and maybe even the style, but this is
what we should expect to see this fall. Outside of fashion week, there are a few
more pieces that are in this season.
- Peek-a-boo lace
- Pencil skirt
- Lady-like pumps
- Sweaters, circa 1950īs
- Gold
- Leather
- Silk blouse
- Animal print
- 50īs belted day dress
- Feathers
