So welcome to my new style column! It’s all picked out by me, Juliette, and what I’ve done is put together a whole outfit for you girls. You know, not just tops, pants, dresses, but also shoes, accessories and sometimes even some nail polish, lip gloss or simple makeup like that. Enjoy shopping!

So for this week, I thought I’d be inspired by the dress, which has a whole bunch of different colors in it. The dress can either be “dressed” up or down, but in this case, the look is much more casual. The jean jacket does this. A light jean jacket works much better than a dark one because of the light blues in the dress. As you can see, the shoes bring out the pink in the dress and the headband brings out the blue. The lace and the flowers in the headband also keep up with the femininity of the dress (Note: Tomboys, this might not be the right look for you… it’s pretty girly). The bangle and the earrings are simple pieces of jewelry that work with the dress. Since the dress is fairly busy, you don’t want to overcomplicate with adding too much jewelry and necklaces. A simple necklace may work instead of the bracelet and the earrings, but if you start to add too much jewelry, the look just won’t work. The light pink nail polish adds that little extra something and complements the rest of your outfit without being too “matchy-matchy”. If you need to go anywhere, this small tote is the perfect bag to bring with you as you put on the rose colored sunglasses completing this summery look.
