What You’ll Need:

• cotton or polyester plain colored clothing
• patterned fabrics
• sewing machine (ask an adult for help, or tell them before you do it.)
• large piece of paper and 2 sharpened pencils
• wooden hangers
• art supplies (such as markers, oil pastels, paint, etc.)

What You Do :

1. Get the sewing machine ready. Cut out shapes you want to put on the clothing. Or trace the piece of clothing onto your paper. Then get the amount of fabric needed to cover the trace, and sew it onto your real clothing instead. This is what you have to do for all clothing.
2. Using the art supplies, decorate the hangers. Then, put the clothing on the hangers.
3. Think of a name for your line.
4. Have a show. Think of a time for your show so that all of your friends can attend, and possibly your family, too.
5. Add your clothes to your closet. Wear them with your bought clothes.
6. Do it all over again with new fashions!
