It’s really cool having different flavors of LipGloss, but it can really cost a lot of money especially if it’s a new flavor or if it’s in a limited stock. But can you make it YOURSELF? Of course you can! Here are two ways which I invented (but don’t worry, I tested it. It was great!) and I bet these starters will get you inspired in inventing your own recipes for LipGloss or any other.

FLAVORED LIPGLOSS

What you’ll need:

• Petroleum Jelly
• Food coloring
• Food flavoring
• Empty lipgloss container (or you could get an empty glitter container)
• A teaspoon
• A small bowl

How to make:

1. Add some petroleum jelly to a bowl (add as much as you like. The more you petroleum jelly you put, the more LipGloss you get!) along with a few drops of food flavoring and coloring.
2. Stir it well.
3. Fill your LipGloss container with your LipGloss mixture and refrigerate it.

Here’s my other recipe of making LipGLoss (it is my favorite because you can smell the goodness of your favorite sandwich spread while you’re wearing it):

SPREAD IT OUT! LIPGLOSS

What you’ll need:

• Petroleum Jelly
• Your favorite sandwich spread (it can be any flavored jam, chocolate spread, peanut butter spread, etc.)
• LipGloss container
• a teaspoon
• a small bowl
  

How to make:

1. Add some petroleum jelly to a small bowl.
2. Add a teaspoon of your chosen sandwich spread and mix it well. Tip: Put more petroleum jelly rather than more sandwich spread. For example: you add 2 teaspoons of petroleum jelly, so it means you should put at least 1 teaspoon or half of the sandwich spread.
3. Put the mixture in your container and refrigerate it.

Tips & Helpers:

• If you have some leftover LipGloss mixture and a container, maybe you can make some for your friends and relatives.
• Remember not to get carried away with your ‘SPREAD IT OUT!’ lip gloss because of it’s super YUMMY sandwich spread scent- you might accidentally eat it!
• When you’re packing it up as a gift, pack it in a transparent kind of giftwrap and add a label so everyone will know that you made the lip gloss.
