Secrets of the Mountain debuts on NBC on April 16th at 8/7C. It's a TV movie that the whole family can enjoy together. This two-hour action/adventure film focuses on a single mother who takes her family to visit a mountain cabin she has inherited from an eccentric uncle. But when they arrive, they quickly learn that the mountain is much more than it seems. An ancient secret and a treacherous quest will test the family like never before. It's an edge-of-the-seat thriller that reminds us that when times are tough, families don't run away from their problems - they run back to each other. As the story unfolds, the characters display positive traits such as honesty and perseverance - things that moms are trying to pass on to their children.
