BAG YOURSELF A VALENTINE
Here is a super easy and fun treat, created by 11-year-old Angela from New York (aka aero_sassy), that you can make and hand out to your class!
You will need:
- 1 or 2 bag(s) of pixie sticks
- pink or/and red construction paper
- scissors
What to do:
- Fold the construction paper in half and cut half a heart in it. You will come out with an even heart.
- Fold the heart in half again and cut a line in it.
- Cut another like that an inch under the previous line.
- Open the heart and slip a pixie stick in the two cut lines. (If it isn't holding together well just put tape on it.)
- On the back write a nice thing about the person that you are giving it to. My personal favorite is "You're sweet!" Get it? Ok a little cheesy, but it will work.
Remember, if you are giving them out in class, make sure to give it to EVERYONE in your class. Imagine if someone gave out sweets and didn't give one to you? Yup, that's a bad feeling. You can give some to your teacher(s) too if you want! If you want you can give an extra to your best friend(s) or your valentine! This treat will make your valentine's day sweet!
