SAFETY PIN BRACELET

"AHH!
I have no fancy accessories to compliment my party
outfit...what am i gonna do?! I also don’t have a
present for my friend. i am running out of time
here!!!"
Wanna make awesome safety pin bracelets that look
like they were bought from a fancy gift shop?! They
only take 15 minutes OR LESS to make! Here’s how:
YOU WILL NEED:
- Jewelry threading elastic
- a whole load of beads, assorted sizes and
colors.
- 18-20 safety pins
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Choose the beads you’d like to use. There
are loads of lovely kinds to pick from.
- Take a safety pin. Thread different colored
beads through. Do this to all 18-20 safety pins.
- Now you can thread them onto the jewelry
threading elastic. Start by tying a spare safety
pin onto one end of the elastic, so that the
others don’t fall off when you thread them on.
- Thread on the first safety pin followed by a
spacing bead... ...then another safety pin. Keep
following the pattern until you’ve used up all
your safety pins.
- When you’ve added them all, pop on one more
spacing bead and tie a knot to finish off. Do
exactly the same thing on the bottom of the
safety pins. Thread more elastic through and put
a different colored spacing bead between each.
AND VOILA! You are finished.
TIPS:
Glass beads make a more fancier, expensive look and
appearance.
If you’re planning to make one as a present, make it
look really WOW. Also, plastic beads are really
cheap and very fun! They give off the "fun in the
sun" satisfaction, don’t they? They look adorable.
HINT:
Measure the size of your wrist before you make this
craft, or else it will be too big, or to small.
REMEMBER, buy the stretchy elastic-y threading
elastic. It will stretch out when you wear it so it
will fit beautifully.
MY EXPERIENCE:
When i made them, it took me about 10-15 minutes to
pick beads, make up a pattern, sort all my
materials, and create the master-piece. I got the
idea off this arts and crafts website. It is truly
remarkable how sophisticated and flashy these look.
GOOD LUCK!
