PAPER FLOWERS
By: Emina, 11 (aka Emina123)

This is a craft that is very easy to make and you could even set it as a center piece!

What you need to get started:

  • Lots of colorful tissue paper
  • Different types of sequins
  • Pipe cleaners
  • Scissors
  • Pom-poms
  • Glue

The 1st step is to cut your tissue paper into a 5x8 square. Or, just cut out a medium sized square. Next, accordion - fold it. After that, take your pipe cleaner and hook it around the middle of the tissue paper. You’ll have to twist it so it stays in place. Then, take your scissors and wedge cut the ends or in other words cut the ends so they look like a pointy triangle. Gently pull the layers of tissue paper apart so it looks like a flower. Now you can glue on the sparkly stuff and make a couple more flowers. After making as many as you wish, stick them in a jar or vase to use as a centerpiece or as a pretty decoration for your room.
