HOW TO MAKE A REALLY COOL SUNCATCHER
By: jhansi, 13, (aka x-twilight-x)

Want a really sun catcher for your room that’s easy to make? Well here’s how you can make one:

First get some baking paper and lay it on a baking tray*. Get some old wax crayons (whatever color, you can even use glitter or metallic crayons) and start grating* them so they are all shaved up. You can use all your colors or only use a few colors that look really good together. Instead of letting the shaved crayon fall where you grate it you can put it in a cool design like a rainbow swirl. Whatever you like. When you’re done and you like your design put another sheet on top (be careful, you don’t want to ruin your design!) and pop it in the oven for a couple of minutes*. You’re just doing this so that the wax can melt a little bit and join together. Get your mom to help you. After that take it out of the oven and let it cool and then put it in the fridge or freezer. When you take it out peel of the baking paper (if you have trouble just use a bit of oil to get it off) and make a small hole at the top*. Thread some cool string on it and then Ta DA. You have an awesome sun catcher.

*Make sure you tell you're mom what you are doing and get her approval. You might also like her to help out and make sure your safe.

P.S. if you want you can super glue diamonds or other cool stuff onto your sun catcher after baking. :]
