DIY: BLOOMING BULLETIN BOARD
This great idea for a Blooming Bulletin Board is brought to you courtesy of the cool new book "My DIY" by Kim Potts.

Materials:
fake grass

  • 1 plain, corkboard bulletin board
  • 1 yard of artificial turf (available at hobby and home improvement stores)
  • Several large artificial flowers, of various types and colors (available at any craft or discount store, and cheaper when you buy them in a bunch and cut them apart yourself)
  • 10 pushpins
  • Strong glue (like e6000, a brand available at any craft or home improvement store) or a hot glue gun
  • A tape measure or large ruler
  • Scissors

    DIY Step-By-Step:

      bulletin board
    1. Measure the inside of the bulletin board (the actual cork part, where you will pin things). Cut a piece of the artificial turf to that exact size, glue it to the bulletin board and let it dry.

    2. Cut the stems off all the flowers, so they have a flat back. Glue each one to the top of a pushpin and let it dry.

    3. Hang your grassy bulletin board and use your new flower pushpins to decorate your hanging yard!

Extra touch: If you don't want to buy fake flowers, make paper flowers and use them for the pushpins.
