STRESS BUSTER TIPS

Every now and then, every girl gets a little stressed – whether it’s from school pressure, crush headaches or friendship drama. Take a break! Miss O Club members missoabby and CAROLINE9 share their tips for easing that stress.

RELAXATION
By: abby, 11, OH (AKA missoabby)

For a little relaxation after a stressful day at school cool down with these things that will help you relax and rest:

  1. Take a deep breath and take a eucalyptus milk bath. This is a very soothing scent.
  2. Light up some candles and listen to some relaxing music like classical.
  3. Do some stretching and do yoga! Yoga is known to make you forget your troubles.
  4. Take a shower. Breathe in the steam and get a good night’s rest with a gel eye mask.
  5. Let out all your troubles and scream into a pillow – it’s classic!

NECK COMFORTERS
By: Caroline, 9, MA (AKA CAROLINE9)

To make a neck comforter you need one large sock, colored sharpie markers, rice, and cups. First take your sock and stretch it out. Then, fill the cups up with rice and put the sock over the cup. Pour rice into your sock until there is only about seven inches empty. Tie a knot at the end. Design it with colored sharpie markers.

On cold days, put it in the microwave for 2-3 minutes then put it on your neck. On a hot day, put it in the freezer for about 30-45 minutes and again put it around your neck!
