DIY: TRANSFORM YOUR SHIRT
with RHINESTONES! —

Rhinestones add a lot to your old jeans
or favorite tee. They sparkle up almost
anything, and come in tons of colors and
sizes!
To rhinestone your shirt, you need the
following:
- Rhinestones (check your local craft or
bead store)
- Super Strong Glue (no, that’s not a
brand; any glue that will really stick.
ex: Gorilla Glue, SuperGlue)
- Newspaper
- Your t-shirt
- Large Flat Surface
DIY: Step-By-Step
Note: Make sure your parents agree to
let you do this first!
Step 1. Put newspaper inside your shirt
(put your shirt on the flat surface)
Step 2. Arrange the rhinestones in the
pattern you desire.
Step 3. Carefully glue down one
rhinestone at a time, leaving all of the
not-glued-down-yet rhinestones in their
spots until you do glue them.
Step 4. Let your shirt dry overnight.
Step 5. Wear your fabulous new tee!!!
P.S. You can do this with almost any
clothing, but sometimes glue will not
hold it down (it won’t on anything that
is not a t-shirt). On anything other
than a t-shirt, also buy brackets the
same size and attach them with those. |
