DIY DECO: ON THE SLIDE

If you easily tire of the decorations in your room, this project is perfect for you! Sliding fasteners make it easy to change your artwork, cards from friends, pictures, etc. at the drop of a clothespin!
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- Clothespins
- Thin Cord (thin enough to fit through the hole in the clothespin spring).
- Pushpins
- 2 Large Silk Flowers
- Hammer
- Scissors
- Tape measure (optional)
METHOD:
- Stick a pushpin through each flower in an inconspicuous spot.
- With a hammer, tap each "pushpin flower" into opposite ends of the wall. Make sure both pins are the same distance from the floor or your line will end up lopsided.
- Cut a piece of cord long enough to reach from pin to pin plus 6 inches extra.
- String several clothespins onto the cord through the hole in the spring and wrap the ends around the pushpins. Secure them with a knot and trim the excess.
- Hang anything you want to have handy or enjoy looking at… Artwork, pictures, A+ assignments, concert tickets, etc.
