| "My name is AngelChik79, and I looooove animals! I
have 8 cats and a guinea pig. When one of my kitties,
Lucy, was born, she was very small. Her mother did not
take care of her right away and my mom and I were
worried that Lucy would die. So my mom and I worked
together and made homemade kitten food, put the kitten
on a heating pad, and got up every 2 hours to feed Lucy!
The next morning Lucy's mother started to take care of
her, and I was very thankful! I love all my cats and my
guinea pig. Someday, my dream is to become a
veterinarian. I love animals and it hurts me to hear
stories about animals who have been abused or killed.
Two of our cats, Tinkerbelle and Tucker, belonged to
this lady who wanted to drown them when they were born.
Thank goodness, a kind lady took them in! But she had so
many animals that she gave them away. And we continue to
love them today! I can't wait until I'm old enough to
volunteer at a shelter, but until then I'll just keep
loving my own pets!" |
