Hi, my name is Kiara! I'm twelve years old, and an ambitious singer/songwriter! I've been writing songs ever since I was 7, helping at US Vets and feeding the homeless. Singing has always been a passion of mine. Some girls want to be rock stars, and Princesses up until their 10, or even earlier! But I never lost that dream. I do understand that not every singer becomes a famous one. That is why I plan to go to a good medical school and get Bachelors or Masters Degree. It's always very important to have a back-up plan! :-) J started gaining my confidence not to long ago. In fourth grade we had a talent show! Oh, how excited I was! So, I entered. I sang "You Belong with Me" by Taylor Swift (She was kind of one of my ALL TIME FAVORITES in fourth grade! :-P). So after hours and hours (And all of my weekends!), it was show time. After everyones performance, the judges gave their results! They started with 3rd place... then 2nd... and finally... 1st! All that hard work paid off! I did it! All my class mates were so proud of me and also the teachers. There is another coming up in my new middle school. I also wrote a song! (It was for my English class, but I put guitar notes to it and ukulele notes to it!). I do hope to be famous one day. But Talent Show winnings and 4 songs can only bring me half way. The rest I have to work even harder for. I know that now.
